The enemy’s strategy in the physical realm mirrors that in the spiritual.

When men are busy in the battle the home is left vulnerable and exposed that the enemy can come in and attack them.

It is intended that as men we be actively engaged in war.

1. The Father who Recovers.

1 Samuel 30:18-19 KJV “And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. [19] And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.”

We must develop the fortitude to rescue our family.

Demonstration of:

  • Courage

  • Love

  • Relationship

2. The Father who Represents.

Job 1:5 KJV “And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.”

We must develop the discipline and responsibility of taking our children’s names and issues to God.

Demonstrated:

  • Proactive leadership

  • Priestly responsibility

  • Personal relationship

3. The Father who Requests.

We must develop the strength to take our children to God.

Luke 8:41-56

Demonstrated:

  • Humble desperation

  • Resistance to distraction

  • Power over discouragement

4. The Father who Releases.

1 Corinthians 4:15-17 KJV “For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. [16] Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. [17] For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.”

We must develop the spiritual maturity to produce spiritual children.

“A spiritual father stands as a guidepost – marking a clear path of God’s truth amidst confusing teaching.” Unknown

  • Anointing to produce

  • Ability to pattern

  • Authority to correct
